Villa Dukuh sits on a cliff top with a stunning river valley view in Nyambu, Bali. Spread over one acre of land, the villa has four large bedrooms, four luxurious bathrooms, a magnificent 15-meter infinity pool and its own private tennis court.
We are ideally situated to experience the best of traditional and modern Bali. Nestled in a historic traditional village, Villa Dukuh is only a short drive from the beach, Seminyak, and other popular destinations.
Nyambu is one of very few designated eco-tourism destinations in Bali and boasts some of the island’s oldest temples and over 20 natural springs. Over 60 percent of the village consists of gorgeous terraced rice fields fed by Bali’s age-old subak irrigation system. While staying with us, enjoy walking tours of the temples, springs and rice fields, art classes with a renowned local artist, or learn to cook local dishes and make traditional Balinese offerings.
Excellent surfing, lounging and dining beaches are within 10km. Seminyak is just 15km away, and we are less than 30km from Ngurah Rai international airport.
A Consistent Level of Exceptional Service
We stayed in Villa Dukuh over the Christmas period, and what can we say, but thank you thank you. Our family dynamic can be tricky, but Gede and his team took it all in their stride and nothing was too much trouble. The villa itself is beautiful, with lovely bedrooms with mosquito nets (essential!) beautiful pool and, although the tennis court is a workout on its own to get there, it was a bonus. But the main attraction of this villa is the way the staff handle your every need – our daughter had a scooter accident and Nopa was there for us during night visits to hospitals etc. Gede coordinated all the paper work and even returned our phone to us after we had left the villa! As for Christmas Day, all was beautifully laid out with flowers in the morning and then we had roast turkey by the pool in the evening with a beautifully decorated table with such an effort to make our Christmas very special. Rika produced the most beautiful meals for us, accommodating a lot of fussiness between us! We were sad to leave the villa, but even more sad to leave the staff who had become our best friends. Thank you to you all.Reviewer from Tripadvisor - “Villa amazing particularly the staff”
This villa is beautiful. The rooms, pool, grounds are great and the staff is even more wonderful! Gede (sp?), the manager/driver is extremely helpful and friendly. He arranged & took us anywhere we wanted with plenty of great ideas on what to visit. The villa is located in a village away from the busy tourist areas. Although we visited many beaches & cities, we were glad to go back to the village/villa with the friendliest most beautiful people, Our favorite dinners were at the villa.Reviewer from Tripadvisor - ”Totally Amazing”
The Villa Dukuh is absolutely wonderful!! It’s serene and peaceful. The staff was incredibly accommodating and nice!!! All of them took care of us, whether it was driving us for shopping or cooking our meals. It’s outside of the high tourist area and fairly close to Echo Beach for a sunset dinner! It’s very enjoyable and relaxing. The pictures on the website accurate convey the feeling there. It’s picture perfect!!Reviewer from Tripadvisor - ”Wonderful!”
